Catman Jobs are currently recruiting a merchandise Planner for an non-food branded and own label business in the Yorkshire region.

The Business

This branded and Own Label business operates across the high street and mults with a special focus on M&S. Offering specialist category support with a strong focus on market led design, this business has grown from strength to strength in an economic climate where UK consumer trends change like the weather with new e-commerce strategies that play to cost-sensitivity.

The Role

With an increasing need across the industry to make logical decisions that will directly impact on profitability the team have never been more sought after and as a result of growth now seek a Space Planner who will hit the ground running. Working across merchandising, space planning, allocation and design, you will be critical to the commercial success of range and inventory management today and tomorrow.

The Individual

You will have a background in merchandising, or supply and demand planning and will be able to pull out complex macro trends from a range of different analysis. Understanding Excel and databases will be a key aspect to your technical background. Commercially, you will be able to make recommendations for space, inventory, range and design from your analysis and be able to present these succinctly with appropriate visuals to internal and externals stakeholders.
