Catman Jobs are currently recruiting a Senior Category Manager for a branded food business in the East Midlands.

The Business

A leading name across various categories has allowed this business to change the dynamics and principals of the market place. Meeting the needs of their consumers is essential and this is coupled with the importance of up keeping the innovation in their categories.

Role

Through internal promotions coupled with expansion of the team, the business is looking for a Senior Category Manager. The Senior Category Manager will go on to manage their largest grocery multiple. They do also have the option to recruit an Interim solution who will join the team in a transition period and be capable of hitting the ground running in a highly competitive category.

Individual

You will have a thorough understanding of applying category principles across marketing and commercial functions to ensure the business is moving in a clear direction. Additionally, a strong commercial understanding and the ability to use data accordingly to present ideas consistent with each channel will allow a seamless integration into the role. You must be able to make an impact with a discerning retailer who is regularly courted by other strong names within the category.
